Front End Developer – React & AWS
Duration: 6 Month Initial contract
Location: Remote
Start Date: ASAP
I am working with a Global Tech Giant (FAANG Company) who are looking for Front End Developers to join an exciting project. It will be all active development and new project work.
Design and develop complex and scalable front-end architectures using modern frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Ideally React.
Optimize web applications for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
Implement best practices for code organization, maintainability, and reusability.
Integrate front-end components with back-end systems and APIs. Integration is with AWS.
Participate in code reviews
Contribute to the development of coding standards, guidelines, and processes.
Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues, ensuring high-quality and stable applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end development, with a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks and libraries.
Proficient in responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility techniques.
Experience with front-end build tools, task runners, and module bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Gulp, Rollup).
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Jest, Enzyme, Cypress).
Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and isomorphic/universal JavaScript.
Familiarity with front-end performance optimization techniques and tools.
Knowledge of progressive web applications (PWAs) and service workers.
Experience with front-end architecture patterns and design systems.
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as AWS CDK.
