The Product Designer at Indie Campers will have the mission to develop the design elements and shape the user experience in such a way that fits the company's image of functionality, professionalism and simplicity., developing first-hand the UX and UI and implementation of design systems for the current and future products of the company (mobile, web, back-office).
You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and improve our product offerings, ensuring that our digital and physical products are consistent with our brand's values and business goals, ensuring the response time and quality of the design needs for each sprint are being met.
This position will be based in our office in Lisbon.
Create visually appealing and intuitive designs for our digital and physical products.
Conduct user research and benchmarks to understand how to best structure our offerings and travellers journey, using data to inform design decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that product designs are consistent with business goals and user needs.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design ideas to stakeholders.
Conduct usability testing to evaluate design effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure that our products remain competitive in the market.
Balance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible results.
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure that designs are implemented as intended.
Partner closely with our product and development teams to maximise the value of what is delivered.
Commit to constant learning and improvement.
Academic Background: Bachelor's Degree in Design.
Up to 4 years of experience in product design being the experience in ecommerce and digital product development companies/environments a plus
Creative, proactive, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, data driven decisions, analytical.
Experience of design tools - figma
Ability to do storyboards.
Experience working with Jira.
Experience with building and working with a Design System.
Experience with user research and A/B Testing.
Design thinking approach.
You thrive in fast-paced environments and feel comfortable with ever-changing situations;
You are motivated by taking ownership of your projects;
Fluency in English is mandatory + other Language skills.
